For manufacturers with an existing product that must be adapted for overseas markets. Changes usually stem from three sources: differing market standards (voltage, frequency, ingress protection), differing operating conditions (ambient temperature, altitude, grid quality), or customer-specific function (interfaces, control logic, appearance).
The flow runs from requirement confirmation to structural and electrical design, key component selection, prototype modification and validation, drawing and BOM freeze, then production handover. Validation covers electrical safety, temperature rise and reliability test items.
Deliverables include revised drawings, BOM, test reports and work instructions so the factory can go straight to production. Payment can be staged against project milestones.
