A complete K03 turbocharger assembly for the MINI Cooper 1.6 L petrol engine. SuotePower part number 9911-0301-6001 replaces part number 53039880118. The K03 is one of the highest-volume turbo platforms on this generation of MINI petrol engines, so parts and repair information are easy to come by and it is a high-frequency replacement number.The assembly comprises the turbine housing, compressor housing and rotating assembly, with mounting interfaces matched against the OEM part for direct replacement. Petrol engines run hotter exhaust than a diesel of the same displacement, so this unit uses a heat-resistant cast-iron turbine housing and a nickel-base heat-resistant alloy turbine wheel to hold dimensions at temperature; the compressor housing is cast aluminium. The dynamically balanced rotating assembly runs journal bearings and seal rings, keeping oil consumption and noise down at high rpm and during frequent stop-start driving.
Every unit is leak- and run-checked before dispatch, with production and lot traceability under IATF 16949. The primary application is the MINI Cooper 1.6 L; different power ratings on the same displacement (Cooper S, JCW) use different turbo calibration, so verify against the old part number and the vehicle plate before ordering.
