Overview
A complete K27 turbocharger assembly for the Mercedes-Benz OM906 diesel. SuotePower part number 9100-0307-0106 replaces part numbers 53279887120 and 9060964699. The OM906 is a common Mercedes medium commercial vehicle and bus engine, and the K27 is a well-established turbo platform in this displacement class with good parts and repair-information availability.The assembly comprises the turbine housing, compressor housing and rotating assembly, with mounting interfaces matched against the OEM part. The turbine housing is heat-resistant cast iron, the compressor housing cast aluminium and the turbine wheel a nickel-base heat-resistant alloy. The rotating assembly is dynamically balanced and runs journal bearings and seal rings; in high-cycle stop-start duty such as buses and urban delivery, stable sealing and controlled bearing clearance help reliability across the oil-change interval.
Every unit is leak- and run-checked before dispatch, with production and lot traceability under IATF 16949. The primary application is the Mercedes-Benz OM906; the OM906, OM904 and OM924 share a medium-duty platform but do not interchange turbos, so check the old part number before ordering.
