Overview
For continuous underway monitoring of river and lake assessment cross-sections, drinking-water source areas, discharge outfalls and nearshore waters. The catamaran hull carries six-parameter water quality sensors (pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, ammonia nitrogen, COD, chlorophyll) and covers 8 hours or 40 km per sortie, turning "walk the bank and sample point by point, then send to the lab" into a continuous profile survey — a cross-section campaign drops from a week to half a day.
Sensor modules are hot-swappable and the parameter set is configurable per project; a third-party probe interface means existing instruments are not scrapped. BeiDou plus RTK positioning drives a depth-controlled sampler that takes a precise sample at a specified coordinate and records the exact sampling instant — the traceability that enforcement and arbitration monitoring require.
Data streams back in real time; the system generates concentration contours, flags out-of-limit cross-sections and raises trend alarms, and can feed an environmental regulator platform or a provincial water data hub. An onboard edge unit caches readings in communication dead zones and back-fills automatically on reconnect, so no points are lost.
A very shallow draught lets it work in 0.4 m of water, with manual remote control for bridge piers, culverts and netted areas. An ADCP current-profiling module or an online water analyser can be added to extend it into a combined hydrology and water-resource survey platform.
